
Dr Gaurav Agrawal is a philosophy teacher and the founder of Sri Yoga Ashram. With a PhD in clinical psychology and experience as an assistant professor at an Indian university, he brings together both ancient wisdom and modern scientific insight in his work. His background in psychology adds depth to the way he presents philosophy, making his teachings both thoughtful and accessible.
Born into a traditional Hindu family, Dr Agrawal has also received guidance from several respected Himalayan spiritual masters. He teaches yoga philosophy in clear, contemporary language, using real-life examples and engaging stories to help students understand complex ideas with ease. His approach makes learning both practical and memorable.
He teaches Patanjali Yog Sutra, the Patanjali Ashtanga yoga system, and yogic teachings from the Bhagavad Gita. Known for his distinctive and entertaining style, he is highly appreciated by students. Dr Agrawal is also the author of three books on astrology, and his fourth book, focused on yoga philosophy, was expected in 2018.
