
Dr. Falguni Gandhi completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) and Diploma in Naturopathy (N.D.) at Bombay University in 1984. She moved to the United States in 1985 and spent several years working with Maharishi Ayurveda, where she had the opportunity to consult patients alongside Dr. Deepak Chopra.
Later, while living in El Paso, Texas, she taught Herbology and Ayurveda at the University of Texas at El Paso. After relocating to Houston in 1995, she went on to take on executive responsibilities in her family’s medical clinic organization, serving as Chief Operating Officer for more than 27 years.
Medicine runs strongly in Dr. Gandhi’s family. Her husband and both daughters are board-certified physicians in Internal Medicine, and her daughters have also completed fellowships in Lifestyle and Integrative Medicine.
Beginning in 2009, Dr. Gandhi served as a radio jockey on Houston’s Masala Radio, hosting the program “Ayurveda Today.” The show aired for several years and includes more than 75 recorded episodes, making a meaningful contribution to community education on Ayurveda and holistic health.
She holds an Ayurvedic Doctor Professional Membership with the National Ayurvedic Medical Association (NAMA) in Los Angeles, California. Actively involved in cultural and community leadership, Dr. Gandhi has served the India Culture Center (ICC) in several roles, including Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President. Nominated as President in 2017, she has also contributed more than 14 years of service as a board member. Her commitment to Indian culture and heritage is deeply connected to her lifelong study of Ayurveda and Vedanta.
Alongside her medical and cultural work, Dr. Gandhi is a licensed Realtor in Texas with a specialization in commercial real estate.
