
Dr. Anusha Sehgal, BAMS, MD, is a classically trained Ayurvedic physician with more than 20 years of experience spanning education, clinical practice, and research. She also holds a master’s degree in Ayurvedic pharmaceutics and has contributed to important research on the safety and effectiveness of Ayurvedic products. As president of Boston Ayurveda Inc., she serves as lead faculty for the Advanced Ayurveda Practitioner Training (AAPT) and the Ayurveda Doctor programs.
In addition to her teaching and clinical work, Anusha is adjunct faculty at several schools of Ayurveda, a former editor in chief of the Ayurveda Journal of Health, and the founding Chair of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association Certification Board (NAMACB). Through her teaching, publications, and practice, she is committed to presenting authentic Ayurveda in a clear and accessible way. She works closely with clients to support empowered wellness and help them take a more active role in their health, with a special focus on adapting classical Ayurveda for Western audiences.
