Dr. Akshay Vashisht

Dr. Akshay Vashisht is an experienced yoga teacher from Rishikesh with more than seven years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Yoga Science from the University of Patanjali and specializes in pranayama, meditation, yoga therapy, kirtan mantra, and ayurveda. His approach combines traditional yogic wisdom with modern methods to support balance, resilience, and inner harmony.

He began his academic path with a B.Tech in Computer Science before fully dedicating himself to yoga, later earning an M.Sc. in Yoga from SVYASA, Bengaluru. Dr. Akshay is also an E-RYT 500 registered with Yoga Alliance, USA, and has qualified UGC NET-JRF in Yoga with an outstanding rank.

His teaching experience includes respected schools such as Nirvana Yoga School, Prakruti Yogashala, and World Peace Yoga School, where he has guided students from around the world in Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and meditation. His classes are enriched by yoga philosophy, kirtan, and therapeutic practices, offering a deeply transformative learning experience. He also integrates ayurveda and Panch-Karma into his work, supporting a holistic path toward physical and mental well-being.
