Description

About Donna Nisha Cohen

Donna Nisha Cohen has been teaching yoga for 45 years and has earned certifications from several yoga schools, including Kripalu’s 500-hour program. Over the years, she has studied with a wide range of teachers, each bringing a different perspective and method. More recently, her work has evolved into a therapeutic yoga approach shaped by her study of Feldenkrais.

Therapeutic Yoga Approach

Her therapeutic yoga blends yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditation, and guided imagery to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. This holistic approach to yoga therapy invites greater integration of mind, body, emotions, and spirit.

Services Offered

Donna offers individual Guided Self-Inquiry/Spiritual Counseling sessions, along with yoga classes and private yoga sessions at her studio, Yoga On Stillwater in Stone Ridge. Her Spiritual Counseling Practice combines Focusing, Realization Process, and Pathwork.

Philosophy

Donna continues to explore how self-awareness, self-responsibility, clarity, compassion, and love can be cultivated in daily life and shared with families, communities, and the wider world.
