Doña Angela

Doña Angela is the sister of Don Enrique and Don Ronor, and she plays an important role in guiding our ten-day retreats, including dedicated sessions for veterans in collaboration with Heroic Hearts. Having completed many plant dietas, she brings a deeply caring, motherly presence to both ceremony and daily life. Alongside her healing work, she is an accomplished artist, creating clothing, jewelry, and crafts in the traditional Shipibo style. With decades of experience rooted in her family’s lineage of plant medicine, passed down through generations, she continues to develop her own approach, especially through her distinctive singing style. Her humble, gentle, and approachable nature helps participants feel at ease, fostering a safe and welcoming space for profound healing and transformation. We are grateful to have her leading our retreats at the Riosbo Retreat and Research Center, where her warmth and wisdom enrich every healing experience.
