Born in Athens in 1942, he earned a PhD in Applied Sciences and an M.A. in Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy from the University of Munich. Since 1978, he has worked in Greece as a communication consultant and systemic therapist, and he is a member of the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA) and the Hellenic Society of Systemic Therapy (ELESYTH).
A personal friendship with Bert Hellinger, beginning in 1973, allowed him to follow the evolution of Systemic Constellations from the outset. He brought the method to Greece and founded the Hellenic Institute of Systemic Constellations Bert Hellinger (H.I.S.C.).
He is also a member of the International Systemic Constellation Association (ISCA) and a certified trainer and supervisor with the German Society for Systemic Constellations (DGfS). Over the years, he has taken part in numerous Greek and international scientific conferences, presenting lectures and therapeutic workshops. He has published articles in foreign magazines and is the author of Return – Archetypes and Systemic Constellations (Klotho, 2007).
By linking systemic psychology and psychotherapy with archetypes, ancient Greek mythology, tragedy, and philosophy, he developed the innovative therapeutic proposal known as the “Greek Paradigm.” He also created Group Resonance, an approach to conducting Systemic Constellations that naturally anticipated Hellinger’s “New Family Constellations.”
