Diane Brito earned her international diploma in osteopathy in 2016 after five years of study in Paris at the École d’Ostéopathie de Paris. Her training covered visceral, digestive, musculoskeletal, fascial, and craniosacral techniques. Following her studies, she spent time traveling across Asia to deepen her knowledge and train in additional methods.
Deeply interested in anatomy, she completed a course in clinical and surgical anatomy at Paris Descartes University in 2020, earning a university diploma in anatomy and preparing to teach the subject. Before settling in Lisbon, Diane worked for five years alongside physiotherapists in Paris. She also supported football and rugby teams during matches and training sessions.
More recently, she received her first Reiki training in Portugal, bringing another layer to her treatments. Her approach is built on comprehensive, gentle, and non-invasive care. Attentive listening, empathy, and technical precision are the foundations of her practice.
Osteopathy is a holistic form of medicine that supports the body as a whole through painless techniques. It seeks to improve health across the nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems through manipulation. By moving, stretching, and massaging muscles and joints, it can help detect, treat, and prevent health concerns. This approach is rooted in the belief that wellbeing depends on the smooth functioning of bones, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues.
Diane also makes extensive use of the patient’s breath to support her techniques. In addition to osteopathy, she practices yoga and meditation, and she will be happy to accompany your journey at Agora and connect with the other teachers to support your practice. Consultations are available in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese.
