
Diana Clark, PhD, is a dharma teacher, Buddhist scholar, and dedicated supporter of the dharma. Drawing on extensive retreat practice, she teaches in a warm, accessible way that feels both heartfelt and relevant. Inspired by the Buddha’s teachings on peace and freedom, her approach highlights what is beautiful as well as what is practical, while fostering the conditions for wisdom and compassion to unfold.
As a Buddhist scholar, Diana teaches graduate-level courses on Theravada Buddhism at the Graduate Theological Union. She also facilitates discussions with dharma communities, exploring the Buddha’s discourses and focusing on how these ancient teachings can remain supportive and useful today.
In her service to the dharma, Diana serves as President of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies and Treasurer of the Insight Retreat Center. She teaches at several meditation centers in the San Francisco Bay Area, with her primary home at the Insight Meditation Center in Redwood City, CA.
