Yoga asanas, transitions, alignment, shatkarma, anatomy, and teaching methodology
Originally from Pune, India, Devadatta began practicing yoga at the age of 13 under the guidance of Chandrakant Pangare, Captain and Coach of the Indian Yoga Team and an eight-time International Yoga Gold Medalist. Drawn naturally to the practice, he deepened his commitment to the yogic path early on and began taking part in yoga conferences and competitions by age 14, both in India and internationally. Over the years, he earned 55 medals, including 9 from international yogasana competitions in Korea, Argentina, and Indonesia.
He went on to complete a Bachelor in Yogashastra at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, formally strengthening the 14 years of teaching experience he had already developed.
Devadatta later continued his career in Vietnam, where he taught yoga across a range of styles, with a focus on intermediate and advanced practices, as well as the purposeful use of props. At Eclipse, he shares the depth of his experience through classes that span Hatha and alignment-based work to advanced flows and restorative practices. His broad understanding of yoga is reflected in the way he guides students, his precise attention to detail, and his consistently positive energy.
