Guided by the belief that passion can become purpose, Dawn stepped into yoga teaching in early 2019 after building a background in social work and education. That path made her work in the wellness space feel like a natural extension of her commitment to mental health and human connection. Her classes are shaped by the idea that vulnerability is what brings us together, creating a welcoming experience for all levels, including complete beginners.
At the heart of her teaching is ahimsa, or non-violence, expressed both inwardly and outwardly. Dawn’s approach encourages kindness toward ourselves and the world around us, offering a grounded, compassionate space to practice. She has also completed shamanic yoga teacher training, bringing lessons from plant medicines into her development as a teacher, along with additional training in 300-hour advanced yoga, pre/postnatal, children’s, and SUP yoga.
