David and Michèle Lambert have been welcoming writers to their home, Le Verger, for 15 years, creating a peaceful setting for focused writing retreats. With a Master’s degree in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, David also brings academic experience from his time as a Lecturer in Creative Writing at Anglia Ruskin University.
His work explores how the voice of the “I” can be brought into academic writing with clarity and purpose, and he has led workshops for the Cambridge University Department of Sociology on reintroducing affect into scholarly work. Guests can expect thoughtful guidance, a supportive atmosphere, and an environment designed to encourage reflection, creativity, and deeper engagement with the writing process.
