Known as the Priest of Play, Dashaun Simmons brings a joyful, expansive approach to healing that invites people to remember life as a playground of possibility. As the co-founder of Men At Work Healing and the Afro Play Collective, he is dedicated to helping others reconnect with their natural capacity for play, presence, and spirit. His work blends the wisdom of an initiated priest, the support of a Reiki practitioner, and the insight of a diviner, all expressed through a deeply uplifting lens.
For Dashaun, play is not separate from healing—it is part of it. He sings, dances, channels spirits, and even enjoys old-school video games as expressions of devotion and joy. Drawn by the spirit of the land, he feels at home in Big Bear, where he loves walking among the trees, discovering what the kitchen has prepared, and connecting with the Retreat Center team.
