As an assistant instructor in our Homonji Iaido classes, Daniel Khalil also leads a satellite group at his own dojo, bringing years of dedicated practice and teaching experience to each session. His martial arts journey spans more than 33 years of training in Karate with the Zen Bei Butoku Kai, alongside extensive study in five disciplines: Karate, Kobudo, Aikido, Tai Chi, modern Arnis, and now Iaido.
With 24 years of teaching behind him, Daniel opened his own dojo nine years ago and has remained deeply committed to preserving and sharing Traditional Japanese Martial Arts. Guided by O’ Sensei Richard Kim’s belief that “A Martial Artist is an Artist of Life,” he approaches his work with discipline, respect, and a strong sense of purpose.
