Born in Germany, Daniel Kantha began his musical path with classical guitar studies under the renowned maestro Frank Bungarten. He later completed a Master of Music in classical guitar at the Hochschule für Musik Hannover, deepening his technical foundation and artistic expression.
As his journey evolved, Daniel felt drawn beyond formal training in search of his own musical voice. In that process, he found nature to be a source of endless inspiration and guidance. This path eventually led him to Nepal, where he encountered Indian classical music and discovered the ancient bowed instrument Sarangi.
His background reflects a meeting of classical discipline, creative exploration, and a deep sensitivity to sound, making his work especially resonant for listeners seeking music with depth, presence, and soul.
