Cyndi Lee has been immersed in yoga and meditation since beginning her practice in college in 1972. Her teaching journey started in 1978, and in 1992 she began offering meditation at the request of her root guru, the great Tibetan master Gelek Rimpoche. Known for her pioneering approach, she was the first Western female teacher to combine yoga and meditation in a way that brought these traditions together for a broader audience.
With decades of experience, she brings depth, clarity, and authenticity to every teaching. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to mindful practice, offering students a grounded and inspiring space to explore movement, stillness, and inner awareness. Whether in a yoga class or meditation session, her approach invites participants to connect more fully with themselves and the present moment.
