Crystal’s journey with plant medicine began about eight years ago, when she was searching for relief from depression and anxiety and had no idea it would transform her life so profoundly. After a later traumatic event left her with severe PTSD, she spent the following four years largely in solitude, surrounded by nature and developing a deep bond with the plants and the spirit of the Earth.
Conventional therapy never felt like the right fit, yet the call of the plants remained. When the time was right, she fully surrendered to the process, combining plant medicine with somatic healing, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and sound healing. Through this path, she was able to support not only her PTSD healing, but also the childhood wounds she had carried for years.
Today, Crystal is a trauma-informed plant medicine facilitator, a certified yoga teacher, and trained in sound healing. She brings an intuitive, compassionate presence to her work, and what started as a deeply personal healing path has naturally grown into a life of service, supporting others through their own transformation.
For the past three years, she has assisted in a range of ceremonial settings, helping hold safe and transformative spaces with reverence, integrity, and love. In late 2024, she found Arkana—a place that felt like coming home. There, she feels honored to be part of a team and family that shares her values of integrity, compassion, and harmony with nature, as well as the mission to heal one heart at a time, while witnessing the profound healing that unfolds through the work of the shamans.
Outside of her work, Crystal enjoys bushcraft, survival skills, gardening, archery, creating natural medicines, products, and crafts from the land, learning new instruments, and dancing—always seeking ways to stay in rhythm with the Earth and its sacred wisdom.
