Hello everyone, I’m Cristina! I am the creative heart behind the project “Yoga in Ciociaria,” an experience that brings together my inner world, my practice on the mat, and my everyday working life. Since 2017, I have been devoted to guiding others along the path of awareness, and I became certified as a yoga and meditation teacher. My personal journey also led me to the fascinating world of mudras, sacred hand gestures that can transform thoughts and emotions while creating a deep harmony between body, spirit, and soul.
Born in the authentic land of Ciociaria, specifically in Rocca d’Arce, I later moved my life and my passion to Milan, where I have lived for more than ten years. Even so, my safe haven has always remained my place of origin. Ciociaria is a region of authenticity, where every return brings me peace and inner serenity. Surrounded by the silence of nature and pure air, Rocca d’Arce proved to be the ideal place to bring this initiative to life. The wish to create yoga events in this area came from a desire to share the magic of the discipline and let everyone experience the simplicity of rural life. Thanks to the precious support of my teacher Rino, the hospitality of the Mayor of Rocca d’Arce, and the enthusiasm of many local professionals, this dream has finally become reality.
I teach a form of yoga that is deeply rooted in the breath. While the foundations come from traditional yoga and Hatha yoga, the true focus of our work is the quality of breathing. During your retreat, you will have the unique opportunity to explore techniques that teach you how to breathe correctly, improving concentration and managing mental stress more effectively. We work carefully on posture to relieve tension in the back and develop flexibility and elasticity through asanas. As the body releases, the mind also becomes more agile, better able to adapt with ease to life’s events. The experience is enriched with guided relaxation, the powerful calming effect of Tibetan singing bowls, and the practice of mudras, which flow through the hands to help balance body and spirit. We close the circle with guided meditations that include powerful visualizations, allowing you to feel the depth of your being through the breath.
My training is solid and internationally recognized: I hold 200h RYT and 300h RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) certifications, as well as the CSEN National Diploma as a “Yoga Gymnastics Teacher.” My education began at the Ananda Ashram Holistic School in Milan, under the guidance of teacher Rino Siniscalchi, who brings thirty years of experience. I continue to grow through workshops, advanced courses, and participation in holistic events. I have had the honor of studying with world-renowned teachers, including Eric Baret (Non-dual Kashmir Yoga), Dr. M.V. Bhole (Yoga therapy), Antonio Nuzzo (Breath Yoga), Rino Siniscalchi (Breath Yoga), Gabriella Cella Al-Chamali (Yoga Ratna), Lucilla Monti (Anubhava), and Giuseppe Goldoni (Anubhava). Every class is an opportunity to deepen this ancient science and make it accessible to each of you.
