
With more than 25 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Cory Johnston brings a deep respect for food, craft, and community to every setting he enters. After returning with his family to Eastern Prince Edward Island, he and his wife launched The Golden Dory, a business rooted in local flavor and seasonal hospitality.
During the summer months, he serves both locals and visitors with classic takeout dishes elevated by refined touches, always with an emphasis on ingredients sourced from the surrounding area. In the winter, Cory shifts his focus to education at the Culinary Institute of Canada, where he shares his knowledge with the next generation of chefs.
Known for his practical expertise and thoughtful approach, he takes pride in teaching the skills and etiquette needed to thrive in the culinary world.
