A nature lover, dreamer, and epicurean, Cindy brings a deeply personal touch to everything she creates. As a holistic life coach, she weaves together yoga, bodywork, hypnosis, breathwork, and her own life experience to guide others on their path.
If you met Cindy today, it would be hard to imagine that just 10 years ago she was living at full speed. Together with her husband Nico, she successfully ran a motorcycle business until tragedy struck in 2015: a short circuit set both their business and home on fire. What could have been an ending became a turning point. The couple rebuilt, and Cindy came to see the fire as an unexpected gift.
Alongside the motorcycle business, she had always carried another passion: yoga and meditation. She began teaching yoga classes, developed her work as a holistic life coach, and later organized her first retreats with fellow coaches. Her dream continued to grow, eventually leading her to buy a B&B in the Algarve in 2019. Today, Seeds of Silence reflects her vision of beauty, peace, and stillness.
Life brought another major challenge when a tick bite led to a brain infection and paralysis. With her health hanging in the balance, Cindy chose acceptance over resistance. For four months, she withdrew into her own cocoon in Portugal, living in tune with her body and surrounded only by silence and nature.
That period became deeply healing. Through rest, yoga, meditation, breathwork, and nourishing food, her body gradually recovered. This experience continues to shape her approach at Seeds of Silence: creating a peaceful, sunny setting where body and mind can return to balance through self-care.
As host and teacher, Cindy offers yoga classes and breathwork sessions, supported by a team of experts who can also enrich your stay with massages, sound baths, Reiki, and more. Her intention is to plant a seed of growth and transformation in every guest, offering a space where people feel cared for and encouraged to explore new experiences.
A retreat here is a shared journey, beginning and ending together. Each day includes yoga, breathwork, and additional activities on-site or in the surrounding area. Thanks to the hotel-style format, you can choose the length of your stay. Mornings begin with yoga or a breathwork session, while the rest of the day is open for your own rhythm, whether that means a coaching session, a bike ride, or a massage.
Every detail at Seeds of Silence has been shaped by Cindy’s own journey of growth, awareness, and creativity gathered through travel. From the colors and decor to the rooms and the presentation of the food, everything is designed to help you come home to yourself. The cuisine is internationally inspired, with a strong focus on local and organic ingredients. At the long table, movement, breath, and meaningful conversation come together over delicious dishes.
In her classes, Cindy’s gift lies in sensing the energy of the group and the moment. Her broad training allows her to adapt with ease. Each day starts with an intention and a check-in, and her sessions are always guided by breath, humor, and an invitation to take the next step on your personal path.
