My spiritual path began at 19, when I first committed to studying Wing Chun kung fu. That was my introduction to the connection between mind, body, and spirit. For the next 11 years, I trained while working in hospitality as a server and bartender. Wing Chun taught me to move through life with purpose and intention, while my work in hospitality taught me how to be of service, communicate with ease, and create a space where people felt comfortable opening up and sharing their stories.
At around 30, I turned to Kundalini yoga, and from my very first class I could feel how powerful the practice was. I saw it as the next stage in my spiritual evolution. Over the following five years, I continued exploring kung fu and yoga on and off, while my curiosity expanded into Amazonian medicines, including Kambo and Ayahuasca. My first Kambo session was deeply eye-opening, as it brought a sense of cleansing to the physical, mental, and emotional body. Not long after, I completed Reiki Level 1 training.
I was then introduced to a teacher in Hermetic Kabbalah, which opened the door to additional spiritual practices and deepened my understanding of energetic healing. In late September 2022, I came across a Gaia episode featuring Suzanne Ross. Her story and her life in Sedona, Arizona immediately captured my attention. Although I had only heard of Sedona and had never visited, I planned a private retreat with Suzanne. Due to weather and scheduling conflicts, that retreat never took place.
About five months later, Suzanne launched an online program called Transcendence Guide. Wanting to learn as much as possible about spiritual practices, I enrolled and continued on to her Transcendent seminar in Sedona. The energy and excitement I felt there were beyond what I had imagined. Over the next couple of years, I returned to Sedona for spiritual practices, and because of my hospitality background, I began to picture myself living and working there.
In January 2025, I attended a three-day Channeling Seminar. By the end of it, I felt called to revisit the idea of making Sedona home, so I began applying for both a job and a place to live. Within two weeks, I was fortunate enough to secure both. Nine months later, I met Debbie Cutler, who was looking to sell her Energy Enhancement System. After our first conversation, we discussed her retirement and the sale of her equipment, and I quickly felt inspired to purchase the business.
On January 1, 2026, I took over Sacred Vortex Holistic Therapies LLC. I look forward to continuing the meaningful work Debbie has already created while bringing my own experience and knowledge to the business.
