Born in France and raised in the United States from her teenage years onward, Christina discovered yoga later in life after facing personal health challenges and experiencing the restorative benefits of detox and holistic living. A lifelong dancer, she brings a graceful, embodied approach to her work, shaped by decades of study and practice.
Christina holds a 200RYT certification from Peachtree Yoga Center (2000) and a 500RYT certification (2008). Her training also includes Thai Bodywork certification from Thailand, Yin Yoga training with Sarah Powers at Kripalu, as well as studies in trauma release methods and ayurveda. Today, she manages the beautiful Heartwood Health and Yoga retreat center in Blue Ridge, where she offers Ayurvedic sessions, Thai Bodywork, private yoga, and emotional trauma release sessions.
She is also the organizer of the Dancing Tree Festival, a vibrant yoga and sacred music festival that reflects her deep connection to healing, movement, and mindful community.
