Christina Karaviotis is a yoga teacher and sound healing practitioner who works with adults, youth, and children. Drawing on more than thirty years of yoga practice, she brings a deep commitment to self-inquiry, connection, and nervous system regulation into every class she offers. Her path began in childhood, when she first encountered Sanskrit, meditation, and the ancient yoga texts, planting the seeds for a lifelong devotion to the practice.
In her twenties, Christina explored yoga alongside somatic movement, dance, and other embodied practices, discovering how powerfully these tools can support transformation and inner connection. Her sessions blend Vinyasa Flow, Somatics, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Sound Healing, creating a balanced experience that encourages both movement and stillness. At The Yoga Yurt, she offers a welcoming and nurturing space where students of all levels can explore mindfulness, deepen awareness, and reconnect with themselves through movement and sound.
