
Christa’s path as a yoga teacher reflects a deep commitment to uplifting others and nurturing love, acceptance, and community. She first discovered yoga in 2001, and what began as a physical practice soon became a profound source of transformation, reaching into the spiritual and mental dimensions of her life. Learning about the 8 Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga brought greater self-awareness and balance to a busy, high-stress lifestyle, giving her a new way to understand herself and her place in the world.
In 2009, Christa began formal yoga teacher studies, and her passion for the practice continued to deepen. After earning her RYT 500 certification through Yoga Alliance in 2010, she began sharing her knowledge with students across the United States as a yoga instructor. Her dedication to growth eventually led her to open Replenish Yoga Studio in International Falls, where she also created a well-regarded Yoga Teacher Training course and supported the development of new yoga practitioners and teachers.
Her journey took on even greater meaning in 2017, when she traveled to India, the birthplace of yoga. That experience strengthened her desire to share the spiritual and cultural essence of India with others. Through her partnership with Adhya Yoga School, Christa embraced the opportunity to lead retreats and offer the gift of yoga in a meaningful and authentic way.
Even through difficult periods such as the recent pandemic, Christa has remained devoted to her personal practice and to serving others. Her teachings encourage self-responsibility, self-kindness, and accountability, while guiding students toward purpose and happiness. Rather than focusing on the superficial or commercial side of yoga, she emphasizes love, connection, and balance within both the individual and the community.
