As Communications Coordinator, Christa brings a thoughtful blend of leadership, creativity, and community spirit to the team. She joined the year-round staff in December 2016, following nine years as Program Director with the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps (VYCC). Originally from central Minnesota, Christa has called Vermont home since 2003 and has built a life rooted in both family and place.
Together with her husband, she designed and built their home in Starksboro, where they live with their two daughters, two dogs, two cats, and a flock of chickens. Outside of Common Ground Center, Christa enjoys time with her family, working in her studio, and heading to the ski slopes whenever she can.
