
Charlie serves as the Mysore Programme Director at Love Yoga studio in Aberdeen, Scotland, and teaches both Ashtanga and Indea Yoga Hatha sequences with infectious enthusiasm.
Drawing on a background in swimming instruction and science, she has spent more than 15 years working with the human body. Her natural curiosity has inspired ongoing study in physiology and biomedical science, including a first-class honours degree in Immunology, along with accreditation in Swedish Massage, Sports and Remedial Massage, and Shiatsu. By blending this knowledge with an intuitive touch, she continues to deepen her understanding of herself and her students.
Charlie began her own yoga journey in 2013, practicing daily under the guidance of Sarah Durney. That path eventually took her around the world, where she explored different approaches with teachers such as Matthew Sweeney and Bharath Shetty.
She encourages a playful, experimental approach to asana, alongside deeper exploration of the subtler aspects of the yogic system. Above all, Charlie aims to bring yoga beyond the mat and into daily life, supporting greater connection with oneself and others.
