Charles Evans

Charles is the resident gardener of our 5-acre meditation gardens, and his background reflects a truly adventurous, curious spirit. He has written several landscaping books, and his career has also included work as a building engineer, chef, art gallery owner, and even a short time as a cowboy in Oregon. Trained at Findhorn in intuitive gardening, Charles brings a unique perspective to every tour and talk he offers.

Through his work, he blends yoga and nature in a way guests can feel immediately. He has a remarkable gift for sensing the spirit of plants and trees, and the care he gives them is reflected throughout the gardens. Charles enjoys sharing both his intuitive gardening experience and the history of the land with visitors. His stories about nature and gardening are often a favorite part of the stay.
