Celimar first tried a yoga class at 16, attending with her mother, though it did not capture her heart right away. Years later, while seeking a way to balance her gym training with more stretching, she returned to yoga and everything changed. What began as one class a week soon grew into a true passion, as she discovered the grounding, ease, and emotional clarity it brought into her everyday life. She was especially drawn to dynamic styles such as Rocket, but it was 4 Beat Vinyasa — the blend of breath, movement, and music — that truly resonated with her. She completed her 200-hour 4 Beat Vinyasa training with Hannah Whittingham and Marcus Veda at The Good Life Yoga School.
As a teacher, Celimar is known for her gentle yet confident voice, breath-led pacing, and classes that move from energising flow into deep calm. She hopes students leave feeling grounded, connected to themselves, and reminded that they can meet life with confidence and kindness. Originally from Switzerland with Dominican roots, she speaks four languages, loves nature and dogs, and looks forward to continuing her studies in music, sound, and Yin to complement her Vinyasa teaching.
