About Cathy Wilder

Cathy Wilder, Haven Core Faculty, MEd, RCC, Dip-C, is a thoughtful and caring group leader, counsellor, and coach. She facilitates Come Alive, Deep Listening: Core Skills for Coaching, and other workshops in both Canada and China. A highly experienced clinical counsellor, she specializes in addictions and brings a strong understanding of mental health concerns from twenty years of work with Fraser Health MHSU.

Luminaries on Demand is a free webinar series created to bring fresh perspectives on topics of interest to our community. These conversations honour the early Haven days, when co-founders Ben and Jock invited a range of thought leaders into dialogue — sometimes in agreement, sometimes not. That spirit of curiosity and generosity remains a core value, and we are delighted to revisit it through technology that transcends distance and time. Each webinar includes a Haven Host who introduces or interviews the guest speaker and, in some cases, leads the Q&A.

Come Alive is Haven’s most popular core program and an ideal starting point for anyone beginning — or continuing — a path of personal or professional growth and transformation. People from many different walks of life, backgrounds, experiences, lifestyles, and locations come together, and most leave with something profound. With gratitude for the land and sea that sustain us, we are honoured to learn, live, and play on 7 acres of forested land by the sea, on the ancestral, traditional, and unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, a community of Coast Salish Peoples.
