Catherine’s path into healing began with a life-changing diagnosis: late-stage Lyme disease, with doctors giving her only 6–12 months to live. Rather than accept that prognosis, she chose to search for another way, turning beyond conventional medicine toward ancient wisdom and nature-based healing.

Her journey took her deep into the Amazon rainforest of Brazil, where she lived alongside the indigenous Varinawa tribe and learned from their traditions and way of life. There, she was introduced to powerful traditional medicines such as Kambo, Ayahuasca, and Hape', and came to understand how to take an active role in her own healing with the support of nature’s medicine.

Today, Catherine is devoted to paying that experience forward. She shares the insights she gained for those navigating serious health challenges or recovering from trauma, weaving together her jungle experience with Pachamama Sacred Paths Andean cosmologies from Peru.
