Carrie’s path into Traditional Chinese Medicine started in a familiar way: she was dealing with health concerns that either felt manageable only by living with them, or simply did not improve with conventional care. After a colleague suggested acupuncture, she decided to give it a try with the same mindset many of her patients share: “I’ve tried everything else, what do I have to lose?”
What she found was a holistic answer to gynecological concerns, digestive discomfort, and severe foot pain, along with an entirely new professional calling. The way this medicine treats each person as a whole human being, with unique thoughts, experiences, and emotions, made Carrie feel deeply seen, heard, and cared for. That experience stayed with her and inspired her to offer that same level of attentive care to others.
Today, Carrie especially enjoys treating pain of all kinds, digestive issues, and women’s health. She also works with headaches, allergies, stress, and anxiety, and holds certification in cosmetic acupuncture for natural complexion treatments.
Carrie genuinely loves her work and can’t imagine doing anything else—at least not until she retires at 95 in a Golden Girls-style setup, with a few girlfriends and an as-yet-undetermined number of cats.
