Carolyn Williams has made Carbondale, Colorado her home for more than twenty years. She first came to yoga soon after arriving and was instantly inspired by the way it supported balance and recovery after long days spent skiing, biking, and running in the mountains. What began as a way to unwind soon became an essential practice for realignment, grounding, and self-study.
Carolyn is a Yoga Alliance–certified instructor (RYT-200) with additional training in Yin Yoga, a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, a Certified Mobility Coach through The Ready State (Levels 1 & 2), and a Certified Ripple Effect Strength & Conditioning Coach for Mountain Athletes. She also holds a Master of Education from Harvard University, where she focused on curriculum design—an approach she now brings to creating intentional, progressive movement experiences.
As the founder of NEVE, a Carbondale-based strength and mobility practice, Carolyn combines yoga, functional training, and recovery work to help mountain athletes and everyday movers become more durable, mobile, and adaptable in sport and in daily life. In her classes, she creates space for learning, alignment, and introspection, inviting students to discover how mindful movement can support flexibility, resilience, and ease on and off the mat. When she is not teaching, Carolyn can be found on the trails or slopes with her husband, two children, and their pup, drawing inspiration from the landscapes that continue to shape her teaching.
