Carli Jefferson (she/they) is an artist, dancer, choreographer, percussionist, and clown whose professional path began with international touring as part of STOMP. Her foundation spans Modern, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, and Contemporary dance, giving her work both technical range and expressive depth.
For more than twenty years, Carli has focused on body percussion, improvisation, and rhythmic flow, sharing her practice across international stages and creative projects. Alongside performing and creating original choreography for stage and screen, she teaches embodied expression and works with healing modalities and ceremony.
Her movement language draws from tap dance, flamenco, Butoh, Five Rhythms, somatic practice, and clowning. At the heart of her work is a deep interest in bodily intuition, inviting release, authenticity, and empowerment through movement that feels alive, playful, and deeply connected.
