Camilla Bergman brings a deeply personal and compassionate approach to recovery, yoga, and wellness. A recovering alcoholic and adult child, she has been sober since 1999 and has been part of the 12-step fellowship for more than 26 years. Her work is grounded in lived experience, offering a supportive space for healing, connection, and renewed hope.
She is a certified yoga teacher in hatha, vinyasa, and kundalini yoga, as well as a breathwork and sound healing facilitator. Since 2013, she has been teaching yoga and leading 12-step and yoga retreats in Portugal and Tenerife. Camilla also teaches Y12SR (Yoga 12 Step Recovery) at Point O, a Dutch 12-step treatment center in Portugal, and hosts monthly women’s circles for local women.
Now based in Portugal with her husband, where they created Rural Escapes Portugal, Camilla is passionate about helping others discover peace, laughter, and connection in recovery.
