Hello and welcome. I’m Camila Kotrady, a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My path into mental health began after I stepped away from a very different career in aviation. Even though that work was part of my story, it did not leave me feeling fulfilled, so I began searching for a direction that felt more meaningful and complete. Through reflection and deep personal exploration, I found my way here.
The journey has not always been easy, but I’m truly grateful to be in this field and to support others on their own paths. As an MFT, I pay close attention to the systems that shape each person’s life — family, friends, work, community, and culture — because these influences can have a powerful impact on how we function and grow. I also believe in a holistic approach that supports healing of the mind, body, and spirit.
I work collaboratively with clients to find the approach that best fits their individual healing journey. My evidence-based tools include CBT, attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy, the Gottman Method, Family Systems, Imago, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory, among others. While these methods are valuable, I believe the heart of therapy is the relationship itself. When clients feel genuinely seen, understood, and connected, meaningful change becomes possible.
I would be honored to connect with you and support you as you move toward positive change.
