Have you ever experienced that moment when you feel completely at home in yourself? When everything is in perfect balance and nothing more needs to be done? For me, this is the essence of yoga: a deep sense of home and connected unity. My personal journey began when life gave me my first guide at a young age: Franz Hegemann. Inspired by his practice and Indian philosophy, I traveled to Asia in the 1980s. There, I repeatedly encountered that profound sense of arrival and peace that felt like home: in the Buddhist monasteries of the Himalayas, in the silence of the Matrimandir in Auroville, at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram, and through the teachings of The Mother and the writings on Integral Yoga. All of these experiences shaped my path, which has continued to unfold ever since.
As an experienced teacher, I combine different yoga styles and Qi Gong with my work as a naturopathic practitioner. Since 1991, I have been a speaker for NEUE WEGE. Guiding students toward meditation is especially important to me. Cleansing exercises, breathwork, and bandhas are part of daily practice. The movements are gentle and flowing, yet strengthening for the center. My intention is to practice with joy and mindfulness. In this way, calm, clarity, and pure joy in simply arriving can emerge. I also love to sing and dance with you.
