
Driven by a long-held wish to experience a Southern California meditation retreat center, he co-founded BBRC in 2018 with Robb, bringing that vision to life in a welcoming setting for reflection and inner growth.
Bill Resnick is a psychiatrist, philanthropist, and certified mindfulness teacher whose work bridges mental health, service, and social impact. He has served as a community psychiatrist with AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Venice Family Clinic, where he continues to volunteer. Since 2010, he has maintained a dedicated meditation practice, deepening the perspective he brings to his teaching. He also serves as a trustee at American Jewish World Service and the Aspen Institute. A native of the Los Angeles area, he grew up primarily in Culver City and now lives in West Hollywood and Big Bear. His philanthropic focus includes community building, racial equity, criminal justice reform, and international human rights.
