About Bill Morgan, PsyD

Bill Morgan, PsyD is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a respected voice in the field of meditation and psychotherapy. He is the author of The Meditator's Dilemma: An Innovative Approach to Overcoming Obstacles and Revitalizing Your Practice, a guide shaped by decades of personal practice and professional insight. Bill serves on the Advisory Board and faculty of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy, where he contributes to the ongoing conversation between mindfulness and mental health.

Over the past 50 years, he has spent ten years in intensive meditation retreats, deepening a lifelong commitment to practice. For the last 25 years, he and his partner Susan have led mindfulness retreats for psychotherapists and caregivers, and more recently they have also offered The Daily Sit and online householder retreats for the general public. His teaching emphasizes a simple but powerful idea: practice should be meaningful, sustainable, and enjoyable.
