About Beth Hartig

Beth Hartig is a highly experienced yoga teacher known for her welcoming and transformative teaching style, especially in the tropical setting of Palm Cove, Queensland, Australia. She has completed over 2,000 hours of yoga teaching and has spent more than a decade guiding both locals and visitors through mindful movement and self-reflection.

Beth originally studied psychology in the United Kingdom, earning a Bachelor of Science with Honours. Her academic background in psychology deeply informs her approach to yoga, helping her students explore the connection between the mind, emotions, and physical practice.

After completing her formal yoga teacher training at Trimuti Yoga in India, Beth moved from England to Australia in 2014 and made Palm Cove her home. Since then, she has become a beloved fixture in the local wellness community, offering beachfront classes that are enjoyed by both beginners and more experienced practitioners.

At The Reef House Adults Retreat, Beth leads daily yoga sessions and guided journaling experiences by the shore and by the pool. Her classes often blend a variety of styles — including Vinyasa, Hatha, Slow Flow, and Restorative yoga — with thoughtful reflection to nurture both body and mind.

Beth believes yoga is a powerful tool for mental well-being and self-awareness, enabling people to understand their thought patterns and take greater control of their mental health through mindful practice
