Berta, originally from Portugal, brings an inspiring presence to the worlds of yoga and ayurveda. Her path began with a background in nursing, which shaped her holistic view of wellness and her deep curiosity about nature, as well as the body, mind, and soul.
She started her yoga journey in 2008 and learned from a range of teachers and masters, exploring Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga. Alongside this, she studied ayurveda in depth, eventually becoming both a Yoga Teacher and an Ayurvedic Therapist. Her teaching reflects years of travel, dedicated personal practice, and a strong respect for traditional yoga foundations.
Berta’s approach is therapeutic and centered on helping release trauma through the body. She creates a space that supports the whole person, with attention to balance, presence, and inner harmony.
As an ayurvedic practitioner, she has a solid understanding of one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. Her work takes a comprehensive view of wellness, with emphasis on diet, herbal remedies, exercise, meditation, breathing, and physical therapy to address the root causes of emotional, mental, and physical imbalance.
She also teaches the core principles of ayurveda, including the doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—and how they influence health. For Berta, this work is not only about healing, but also about empowerment. She encourages clients to understand and listen to their bodies, building a more intuitive connection with their own wellness journey.
Through her yoga and ayurveda teachings, Berta continues to contribute meaningfully to the wellness community.
