My personal path with yoga began in the 1980s, when I was searching for a way toward greater vitality and inner freedom. Since then, countless inspiring impulses and transformative experiences have carried me forward, and I still enjoy discovering new things. Sharing the many facets of yoga with a wider community has become my inner calling. It brings me deep joy to inspire and support people on their journey inward.
Alongside my long-standing yoga path, I have explored a range of additional methods that may be woven into my guidance when needed: progressive muscle relaxation, theme-centered interaction, Zen meditation, healing singing in a group, and coaching methods that actively support self-exploration processes.
The Viniyoga tradition, which I have been connected with for more than 20 years, offers a rich variety of possibilities. Individual asanas or entire movement sequences can be reshaped again and again in fresh and varied ways, and therefore adapted to the individual. Special attention is given to the breath and its fullest possible unfolding. This is where the special magic of yoga reveals itself: practice becomes calm, focused, and meditative. Relaxation and inner balance arise from this collected centering and nourish the practitioner with well-being, joy, and vitality. The practice itself becomes meditation, deepened through pranayama (breath exercises) and samyama (sitting in stillness).
Combined with impulses from yoga philosophy, this opens up an exciting and creative journey into one’s inner world, from which not only new perspectives can emerge, but above all a more harmonious understanding of the self.
Like a dance of the soul, when body, breath, and inner experience unite in a stream of devotion. Then the door to the infinite opens.
