Arno Ilgner

Arno Ilgner became known as a pioneering rock climber during the 1970s and 1980s, building a career shaped by challenge, discipline, and deep personal exploration. Those years on the rock face became the foundation for his distinctive physical and mental training system, The Warrior's Way®.

After years of practice within the great warrior traditions, he founded the Desiderata Institute in 1995 and began teaching his program full time. His work brings together movement, mindset, and focused awareness, offering a powerful framework for those seeking greater resilience, clarity, and commitment in their practice.
