Blending influences from multiple lineages, Ari Kanamori offers classes that weave Iyengar-based alignment principles into fluid vinyasa sequences and dynamic movement exploration. His teaching invites students to move with precision while staying connected to ease, curiosity, and embodied awareness. Rather than focusing on shape alone, Ari’s approach encourages a deeper listening that can help reveal the body’s natural intelligence and inner wisdom.
He completed his 200-hour training at the Nosara Yoga Institute with Don and Amba Stapleton, followed by a 300-hour certification through YogaWorks Los Angeles under the mentorship of Gigi Snyder. He later studied an additional 100 hours with Maty Ezraty, who was a student of Pattabhi Jois and Geeta Iyengar. This rich background informs a practice that is both grounded and expansive, offering students a thoughtful experience rooted in tradition and creative movement.
Whether you are looking to refine alignment, explore new patterns, or deepen your awareness on the mat, Ari’s classes create space for meaningful practice and discovery.
