Ari Badaines is an experienced group therapist with more than 50 years of practice. He brings a supportive, caring presence, and when needed, a direct and challenging approach. He believes participation is always your choice, while also encouraging you to take risks so you can gain the full benefit of the group.
Looking back to the start of his career, Ari worked as Waterfront Director at an American summer camp. In that role, he designed, supervised, and taught swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and sailing, while also taking overall responsibility for waterfront safety. Over the years, he has helped many people learn to swim and refine their strokes.
He qualified as an Instructor in Lifesaving, Swimming, Water Safety, and Canoeing/Kayaking. In his early years, he also worked as a lifeguard in the USA at summer camps, swimming pools, and similar settings. He was even involved in a rescue on the Thames in London, though you will have to come to Atsitsa to hear how that story ends.
