Anthea Grimason

With a career shaped by both corporate strategy and deep personal practice, Anthea brings a thoughtful, grounded perspective to her work. Her first visit to Samahita Retreat in 2008 marked a turning point, inspiring her to train as a yoga teacher year after year before eventually leaving corporate life in Ireland to continue her studies in Asia. In 2013, she joined Samahita in a dual role spanning teaching and marketing, and since 2015 she has been based in California as the retreat’s remote strategic marketing director, while still returning each year.

Alongside her yoga background, Anthea also offers private support as a death doula, weaving the wisdom of yoga into end-of-life care. She is an 1100+ hour certified Yoga Teacher and an INELDA Certified End of Life Doula, bringing compassion, clarity, and lived experience to every part of her work.
