About Anne Sussman

Anne Sussman is a certified mindfulness and meditation instructor who supports students in building ease and fluency in mindfulness. Her work encourages compassionate listening and offers practical tools for living with greater vitality.

Experience and Training

Anne has been practicing meditation since 2009 and has witnessed the transformative power of mindfulness in her own life and in the lives of others. She founded the Mindfulness Meeting Place, a virtual studio designed to meet students wherever they are and help them cultivate a calm mind, focused attention, and deeper well-being.

A 2015 graduate of the McLean Meditation Institute and a certified trainer of the MMI-Mindful program, Anne teaches individuals, small groups, and organizations. Her mindfulness education courses are created to strengthen focus and productivity while reducing stress and anxiety.

Spiritual Midwifery

Anne also serves as a Spiritual Midwife, guiding people as they explore what lives in their hearts and minds through a spiritual lens. In one-on-one sessions, she looks at everyday practices such as meditation, inspirational reading, and prayer to help uncover a deeper sense of connection to your truest self.

Author and Community Impact

Anne is the author of The Bliss Buddy Project—How Sharing Gratitude Increases Joy, where she explains how gratitude practice can change lives and offers a simple way to begin. Since 2013, she has paired strangers and invited them to share daily “bliss moments,” a meaningful practice that helps magnify happiness.

Philanthropy

She is deeply committed to addressing food insecurity: 10% of all profits are donated to her local food pantry, The Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges. She is also a sustaining donor to Buy from a Black Woman, supporting Black women entrepreneurs, and ConBody, a foundation that helps formerly incarcerated individuals through training and pathways to work and housing.
