Matho, a enchanting village in the heart of Ladakh in the Himalaya, is my home. After studying in South India, I spent seven years in a Mahabodhi Society monastery, where I learned meditation and Buddhist practice. I then lived for three years as a monk at Yuan Kuang Monastery Buddhist College in Taiwan, a place where the Mahayana tradition continues to flourish.
Since 2003, I have lived with my family in Germany. For more than 15 years, I have accompanied German travel groups on spiritual journeys through the Himalaya. My strong language skills and deep cultural understanding allow me to share my homeland in an authentic and meaningful way. I am also a certified yoga teacher and enjoy teaching on my travels.
Since 2010, I have also been teaching at adult education centers and yoga studios. I am delighted to share my knowledge of Buddhism, and I also give engaging slide lectures about my home regions of Ladakh and the Kingdom of Bhutan.
"Our journey to India in Dharamsala became an unforgettable experience thanks to our wonderful guide, Angduc. With great empathy, profound knowledge, and genuine passion, he not only introduced us to his culture, but also helped us immerse ourselves deeply in the world of Buddhism. Every explanation was inspiring, every encounter with him enriching." -NEUE WEGE traveler Heike-
