About Andrew

When he is not teaching, Andrew brings a strong background in emergency care to his work, serving as both a Paramedic with the Houston Fire Department and an Emergency Room Nurse at a hospital in west Houston. His professional experience gives him a calm, safety-focused approach that students can feel confident in.

Outside of his medical career, Andrew spends his free time scuba diving and is drawn to the sense of freedom it offers beneath the surface. He especially enjoys helping others discover the sport and sharing the excitement of becoming a diver. At Oceanic Ventures, he also puts his medical training to good use by teaching in the Stress & Rescue program, where he enjoys passing on practical knowledge and supporting divers as they build confidence and skills.
