From the African bush to international ballrooms, Andrew Cuerden has spent a lifetime moving, performing, and teaching across the world. With more than 40 years dedicated to Ballroom and Latin American dance, his career has included practicing, competing, performing, judging, and coaching at the highest level. He reached the top 24 in the world Latin American dance rankings and also appeared as a Professional partner on BBC Strictly Come Dancing in 2005.
His journey later took a deeply personal turn. In 2016, after experiencing burnout, depression, and a range of chronic illnesses linked to life traumas, Andrew began a profound path of healing and renewal. Today, he brings not only technical expertise but also lived experience, resilience, and a grounded perspective to every session. His work offers an inspiring blend of artistry, discipline, and human insight, creating space for movement that is both expressive and meaningful.
