Since yoga came into my life, it has become its center — or perhaps it was yoga that found me. Each day brings a new lesson: I practice, I study, and I try to live yoga through the path of the Eight Limbs. I love being a student, and I hope to remain one for as long as my body allows.
My training includes an immersion in Universal Yoga with Andrey Lappa, the founder of the system, whose teachings gave my practice a strong foundation. Earlier in my path, I studied with Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini, whose work is rooted in both Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Yoga as taught by K. Pattabhi Jois. I was also deeply inspired by Carrie Owerko, an Iyengar teacher and the founder of Fundamentals of Iyengar Yoga, whose creative and intelligent approach to alignment broadened my understanding of asana practice.
Over the years, I have taken part in many workshops, both online and in person, to deepen my understanding of Hatha Yoga and its influence on physical and mental well-being. I am currently continuing my studies in the Ashtanga Yoga of the Yoga Sutras, in the Tradition of the Himalayan Masters through Abhyasa Ashram.
Alongside my yoga training, I have completed several 10-day silent meditation retreats in the tradition of S.N. Goenka, which have profoundly supported my meditation practice.
